Jimmy Fallon, RFRA, and a beach house. {a weekly round-up}

  It's Saturday! The sun is shining! I've been needing this weekend for about two weeks now, so I'm glad its finally here. While it's pretty chilly outside and Spring is taking it's sweet time to show up for good- I've finally got some daffodils blooming in mason jars. So all feels right in the world again. {tip: Trader Joe's and Whole foods have the best/cheapest daffodils!}. In case you need some weekend reading, here's what caught my eye around the internet this week!

Jimmy Fallon is one of the best worship leaders. I know, I was skeptical at first, too. Definitely an interesting take on one of the funniest guys in Hollywood right now.

I've always loved my home state, but this week I'm feeling really ashamed to call myself a Hoosier and be associated with the new RFRA that was signed by our governor. Even though we're in the company of 30 other states with similar laws, it just seems backwards and hateful.

And speaking of backwards and hateful {sort of}, HAVE YOU WATCHED THE JINX!???? I know I'm a little late to the game, but ohmygosh. I finally caught Justin up and we are watching the finally tonight. We already know Robert Durst confesses on camera to the murders, but I'm still so fascinated. It's like Serial all over again!

Justin and I are thinking of taking a mini vacation this summer/fall, and I stumbled on this adorable {and affordable!} house in my favorite beach town. Too bad it's booked for the season. Next year?

With Easter coming up, I went to this play with some girlfriends this week. If you live in the Indy area and can snag some {free tickets}, it's a must see! There are live animals! And just a really beautiful performance and reminder of why we celebrate Easter. The church that puts it on does it every year, so I'm already thinking of who I can bring next April.

Are you obsessed with Reese's eggs, too? I'll be so sad when the Easter candy leaves the store and I can't score 2/$1 eggs...but I bet my thighs will thank me. I've seen a recipe for homemade pb eggs floating around, but I'm too afraid to try it. It seems like a slippery slope towards OD'ing on chocolate and pb...

Completely unrelated, some friends and I were talking about how awkward maternity photos can be. And then I remembered this amazing buzzfeed article. You're welcome.

I'm having flashbacks to 2005 when I shopped regularly at American Eagle. Randomly, it's where all my pj shorts and favorite pair of yoga pants are from. And since my dog ate my favorite ones, I'm in need of replacements. I've been looking at Aerie, but where else does one find cheap and comfy short and yoga pants? I clearly need to get out more.

Happy weekending!
