Noonday.

{All the Noonday love in this post is 100% unconditional and I'm not getting paid to share it at all!}

This weekend, I'm hosting my first Noonday trunk show {I say first, because I'm sure there will be many more to follow!} and you're invited!!!
 Oh, you haven't heard of Noonday? It's an amazing company that sells accesories. I found out about it from one of my favorite bloggers, Tara. But let me start off by saying I'm not super into fashion {HA! Understatement of the century! I shop a maximum of 3x a year.}- so that wasn't really what made me want to learn more about Noonday. I was {still am!} fascinated by their mission.

  Jessica {the founder} started Noonday as a fundraiser for her family's adoption from Rwanda and out of it was born this beautiful company that's passion is to connect you with the lives of artisans struggling for a better future while styling you along the way. fashion and design are a vehicle for opportunity and change. you, too, can be a voice for the oppressed! (from the websiteThey do this by::
  • Providing jobs that create a pathway out of poverty for families. A stable income means a family is less likely to abandon their child.
  • Help families raise money for their own adoptions. We give 10% of trunk show sales directly to the adoptive family when they host a trunk show.
  • Aside from donating 10% towards qualified adoptive families, Noonday Collection also gives towards orphan care and prevention. Watch this video to see one of our beneficiaries.
  All that to say, a company that supports fair trade, solutions for poverty, support for orphans, and international adoption- I'm sold. The gorgeous jewelry and home decor are just added bonuses, you know? After I learned more about it, I tracked down a local ambassador and booked a trunk show asap. I was just that excited to see more and share Noonday with others!
  I would love to have each of you over for some mimosas, crepes, and quiche while we sit together and learn more about how Noonday is changing lives. But, since you probably can't make it to my house this Saturday- I'm inviting you to join in the fun online! {And hey, I have a great crepe recipe if you need it ;D} If you're interested in learning more about Noonday near where you live or see something in the collection that you just have to have and plan on buying- let me know! I would love for you to join in my trunk show, but mostly I would love it if even one person read this, got excited about Noonday's mission, and spread the word. So, check it out online! Find something you'd love to add to your wardrobe or home, help out an artisans across the world, and spread the word. {But let me know so I can include you in my trunk show! :D} Or, if you're in the Indy area- come for real! I would love to have you!
