Weekend.

Gosh, this weekend was a good one.
The best one in months, for sure.
J text me on Friday afternoon, telling me that he had made plans for the night. I promptly text (or is it texted?!) back asking if these plans required me to wear a bra.

I am who I am, people.
Anyways, these plans involved being in public so a bra was necessary.
Then I spent too much time visiting and snuggling with my little nephew and was a teensy bit late getting home.
But we made it downtown before the dinner crowd and ate at Weber Grill for the first time.
It was love at first pretzel roll sight.
Then it was on to Victory Field to watch some minor league ball and Friday night fireworks.
And eat dip'n'dots, of course.
Best date all summer!
Saturday was full of catching up on Suits
{um, why is it not on again until January?!?! And why is Mike always screwing things up with Rachel?!}
crafting, baking, and heading to a Pure Romance party
{yup, it was as awkward as you would imagine.}
Sunday we went back to the church we've decided to settle into, tried a new local eatery, and I officially started decorating for Fall while J watched some war movies that I wasn't into.

But now I feel a little hungover from all the fun and am kind of dreading getting back to work for the week.
Anyone else ever get like that?

Seriously. Suits is amazing and should be on tv year round. I think my usual summer back up shows have become my preference over my staple fall ones. All that to say that I'll be looking forward to the return of Suits in January. :)
