Get away.

The last month has been so busy and full for J & me.

Lots of trips out of town and time with family & friends.

Last weekend,

J's older brother and his wife visited us from NJ.

And I'm so excited to blog alllll about their visit...

but then I remembered I never blogged about our little cabin getaway to Gatlinburg!

my bad.

A couple weekends ago, we headed to Gatlinburg with some of J's friends from work and rented a cabin.

It was a super short weekend {with a 7hr drive each way},

but still super fun!

First of all, we had these two ADORABLE babies with us all weekend...a Weim puppy & a husky puppy. It was like being with the mini me's of our dogs!

We scored free tickets from a friend to the Lumberjack Feud Dinner Show... 

and while it was pretty cheesy at times, 

it was also pretty awesome. 

{I would definitely recommend it!}

And then we came back to our cabin in the woods for more hot tubbing, campfires, and well, beer.

The boys even picked up some legit corncob pipes at the convenience store down the road.

Classy.

I really meant to take more pictures, 

especially of J and I. Its a goal I have...

that I'm doing pretty terrible at. 

Someone PLEASE keep me accountable.

But really, we had a great time in Gatlinburg. It was such a short trip, that we're trying to figure a way to go back again soooooon!
