heart things.

I am already anticipating this week to be another filled with less exciting, more heart filled posts.
{aside from my upcoming giveaway...so so SO excited!}

kind of the theme of life right now.
My heart is so very full this morning.
Full of thanksgiving for the ways God is providing for J & I.
we have just enough. and that's all we need. We've learned to depend fully on him. a sweet, sweet lesson worth all the anxiety we've had {and still have to} work through. 
and more than just financially, I'm so thankful today for the ways God has just prepared us for this season in life, prepared us to come alongside others who are burdened.

But today, my heart is also so very full of prayer.
J's younger brother is having some serious health issues.
This saturday, pretty much out of the blue, we found out his blood platelet count was at zero. {when the avg. person has 200,0000}. 
This means he's at immediate risk for brain hemorrhaging. 
Scary stuff. It could be caused by any number of things, and they did a bone marrow test this morning. If you would, please pray. Pray for answers, for peace, and for faith.

In so many other ways, my heart is filled with prayer today for friends dealing with hurt and betrayal. Its seems there are a million things to be down about today, but I keep being reminded of Philippians 4:8, 
Finally,brothers,whatever is true,whatever is noble,whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.

I'm sorry to hear about what you are going through. That has to be tough. My pastor spoke about trials this week. He talked about moving through them with a joyful heart. It's difficult to do at times like this, but know that God is watching over you. I hope things get better soon. You'll be in my thoughts!

Will definitely be praying for your BIL. Hopefully they caught what's wrong in time and be able to head it off before it gets any worse.

And wonderful verse!! I love that verse.

This came to mind while reading your post. Matthew 6:25-34.

Verses that I do my best to remind myself of. I'll be praying for you and J as well.

so sorry to hear about your brother in law. my love & prayers are headed your way. thank goodness for good friends & family to help us get through tough times. and even more so, thank goodness for the help and blessings we receive from god.
