Park days.

Can I get a collective amen for warm days in the middle of winter? I actually don't hate winter or even think about the weather all that much, but these last few days in the 50s have been wonderful. I love Steinbeck's quote about winter- "What good is the warmth of summer without the cold of winter to give it sweetness?"YES. I think that's what has been so nice about these last few days!
A stomach bug has taken over our house, but Caleb was feeling better yesterday so we headed to the park after his nap. Fresh air is so good for all of us- less tantrums and more giggling from mom and toddler! It is a ton of fun to watch Caleb explore and point out different things he recognizes {cars! trees! swing! Tyler!}. He is a bit intimidated by the big kid playground, but loves walking on the path and just wandering through the park. Its bound to cool down again soon, so I'm holding onto these few days of adventuring outside until Spring comes in a few weeks!

Ps. Did you see my post yesterday? I shared my goals for 2016! Check back later this week for some big ways you can help me reach them!
