Christmas at the beach.

Now that our weekend-long birthday celebration is over, I figured it was time to recap Christmas! I think one of my resolutions this year should be to be more intentional with taking pictures of family and friends. I didn't take more than 60 pictures while we were in Florida...and 35 of those were of the puppy! Lame.

I've mentioned before that Justin and I split the holidays each year between our families. Its always a bit bittersweet, because we'd love to be with both families every holiday, you know?
This year, we spent Christmas with Justin's family. Which isn't a bad deal...since his parents live in Florida! :)
In the last 4 years, there have probably only 4 or 5 times that all of us have been together. So having everyone together for Christmas this year was so much fun! And there was a puppy involved, which only made the trip better.

We got Justin's younger brother a sweet memory foam pillow for Christmas and Justin couldn't wait until Christmas morning to give it to him!

This was our first {and last!} time bringing both dogs...Jersey loved it!

Cooper! My MIL got a new puppy for Christmas...and he's absolutely adorable.

Since moving to FL a few years ago, the Rushs have a tradition of cooking out on the beach for Christmas dinner...

The one {blurry} picture we got of the kids! We're spread out across the country {Jersey, Florida, Indiana}, so we don't get to see each other nearly enough.

Christmas was so great this year {minus the 40hrs of driving}...and we're already planning for Thanksgiving next year!

So fun! I love the idea of a Christmasy beach dinner. I'm jealous! Also jealous of all the puppies you were surrounded by!

I loved looking through these pics and hearing about your Christmas!! You look so happy :) And the pups are just SO cute!! One of my "resolutions" (even though I don't make those) is to take more "people pictures" this year too - my computer is full of decorating and project pictures! Yikes!

LOVE big family Christmases!! I wish we could have our families together too. It's too tricky to get to Quebec for Christmas with their boat loads of snow....maybe one year we will have 4x4!
