In light of National Mentorship Month, I thought I'd share some resources for you all!
I'm not sure if you had a mentor growing up or you ever thought about becoming one yourself, but can I encourage you to think about it?
Being an extra {or in some cases, the only} support to a youth can result in some amazing results. Kiddos with a mentor in their life are proved to have higher education goals, less engagement in risky behavior, and a higher self-confidence.
Besides being a mentor yourself, there are lots of ways you can donate time & money to support organizations that are already doing mentorship really well.
If you live in the Indy area, here's some useful info for you. And if you live anywhere else...here is a great resource!
