Borrowed words.

I still cannot believe what happened in Connecticut on Friday.
Terrible, sad, horrendous...
so wrong.
I was also a little baffled by people's responses on social media. I've never fully understood days of silence or Facebook remembrance pages. I don't think they're bad or wrong, I've just never fully understood them.
And then I read this post this morning, and realized I didn't need a post of my own. Ashley said exactly what I was thinking.
Pray. Act. Create change.

And mostly, pray. Don't just talk about praying or think about it or throw out a good verse that fits this situation. Get on your knees, take significant time out of your day and seriously pray that Psalms 147:3 is real for the families effected by this tragedy- that God really and truly heals their broken hearts and binds up their wounds.

Loved this friend! I definitely still need to "take some significant time" and pray instead of praying on the go all the time.

This is so great. And her post was spot on with how I've been feeling about the silence and fundraisers.

Thanks for posting this Katie!
