Kids.

April is
National Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Month.

This hits pretty close to home for me, since I'm working in a children's hospital for my internship right now.
And I see way too many cases of abuse and neglect.
Really terrible cases.

But trust me when I say that child abuse & neglect is happening where you live, too.
And its just not ok.

In 2010,
1560 kids died from abuse and neglect in America.
That's 1560 too many.

So, if nothing else, make yourself a little blue ribbon to wear all month.
Just to raise awareness about the issue.

Ugh, it'll never be ok to abuse kids. I saw the other end of it. The men who did it. It always made me (and still does) so sick.
