Life has been busy lately.

And there's not been much to blog about.

In fact, I'm thinking of taking an indefinite blogging break.

We'll see...

in the meantime, here's what I've been up to.

I'm a HUGE Trader Joe's fan. You could say I'm obsessed with it. Being a budget shopper, I'm pretty picky about where I shop and how much I pay for groceries. But TJ's is surprising affordable...and owned by the same company that owns Aldi. Who knew?!

Anywaysssss I usually do my shopping there at an off time, like early morning when they open or a weekday afternoon. I made the accident of going on Saturday around 3pm. Evidently so did the rest of Indianapolis.

But I scored a sweet bunch of spring blooms! :) 

J & I stayed in on Saturday night, so I made some delicious pesto stuffed chicken. But I was out of my last batch of pesto, so I had to whip up some more in my blender. It turns out different every.single.time. But always tastes good!

Sunday afternoon, the weather was lovely. I took advantage of the warmth and spent some time reading and swinging on our deck swing :)

I was a baking machine this weekend. We went to a friend's house on Sunday after church for a pitch in, and we I was in charge of desserts. Best choc. chip cookies EVER, my first lemon meringue pie, and some pretzel buckeyes (not pictures!). 

So.much.sugar.

On Sunday night, J went with a friend to pick up his new Weimaraner puppy...Jameson! He brought him over and I fell in love. Look at that babe! Ooooooh. so cute. I would be a crazy animal lady if J would let me.

And the highlight of the week?

Springlike temps! Its SO warm for Indiana this time of year. 

And you won't hear this girl complaining :)

But that's about it. Not much else going on over here in the Rush house. Check back over the weekend...my oldest sister is having her gender reveal party tomorrow! We can't wait to find out if a little niece or nephew is on the way...
