Good things.

anyone else remember when Martha Stewart used to always say, "Its a good thing,"? And then SNL always did spoofs of it?
Just me? K!

Sorry for my lack of bloggyness lately! I've been enjoying my break before summer classes and my new job {yay waitressing!} start. Aaaaaand I've just been in a blog rut. We all get those, right?

Anywhoooo, here are two three good things in my life right now.

1. I alluded last week to J & I working on being healthier. The last couple weeks of classes/practicum got the best of me and I stopped working out again. But I'm back! We're getting up early every morning and exercising together. And now that its warm out and I have afternoons free, I've been taking Murph on more runs. Happy dog, happy owner! Even more than exercising though, we're making over our diets.

Case in point:

{Thank you Aldi, Wal-Mart, & Trader Joe's!}
And yes, there are a ton of produce bags in there. Think cukes, oranges, peppers, apples, onions, spinach, cilantro, berries...all sorts of delish produce!

While we've both lost weight, we both feel better. Which is what our goal was! I mentioned here that I want to keep working on glorifying God with my body and being a good steward of what I've been given!
So booyah! Getting back into shape and eating healthier is a good thing :)

2. IKEA!!!

I'm headed to the happiest place on earth tomorrow with my sisters and mom. Ikea makes my heart sososososososososososososoSO happy and I can't wait! While I still have a super limited budget, I have my eyes on some lovely fabrics, frames, and storage goodies!
Gah....I'm so excited! Anyone else love Ikea as much as me?!
Its a good thing, for sure.

3. Lovely, fresh flowers!

thankyouverymuch, Trader Joe's! $3 flowers?! Just another reason I love you! :)

Happy Monday!

I love the way eating better changes your life.

And I actually have a love hate relationship with Ikea. I love that they have the things I am looking for at good price points, but it is always an overcrowded maze. Or at lest the one close to me is.

P.S. Got your package. Love, love, love! Blog post tomorrow. You are the best:) Thanks!

Happy Monday to you! Is it crazy I've never been to IKEA before?
Yay for you both losing weight, that's awesome and all that produce, way to go!

I most definitely get in blog ruts! I didn't even write for a couple months this past winter, as you may remember.

Good for you and your hubs on the fitness and healthy eating regime! We are trying to do the same. The warm weather sure doesn't hurt the cause, does it?

And yes, IKEA is awesome! I love it. I can't wait to see what you get!

I remember her "It's a good thing" catch phrase! And I hated it. But applied appropriately It works I guess.

A few words:
1. Yum
2. IKEA is great. Just too crazy big!
3. Flowers make me smile.
