Baby fever is in the air.
Everrrrryone is having a baby these days!
{Don't get any ideas. I have no news to announce!!}
My good friend Sarah from our old apartment complex is expecting a little boy any day now.
Her labradoodle Macie was Murphy's first friend!
Sarah's a pretty special friend and does so much for everyone, I decided to throw her a shower.
I chose an Abc theme and some basic boyish colors.
{I got most of my inspiration from this lady.}
I found the cutest invites and the assembly involved two of my favorite things...sewing paper & using vellum for envelopes!
Although they were wayyy more labor intensive than I anticipated, I love how they turned out!
The guest list was intimate and the decor was simple, but we all had a great time and Baby Reed was super spoiled!

We sent Jersey to a friend's house for the afternoon, since she's CRAZY.
But this guy stuck around, and kept stealing the show.
bunting.
The spread...
{color coordinated on accident...I SWEAR!}
frozen grape skewers. {not olives :D}
Peppers, carrots, & celery cups with ranch on the bottom.
The mama-to-be's fav, Margarita cupcakes!
Seriously, hammin' it up. {and my nassty feet!}
In lieu of cheesy baby shower games {though I sometimes love them!},
everyone helped to make Baby Reed's first Abc book!
{basket of favor bags...}
{favor bags: scissors & take home Mike&Ike's}
Bunting, bunting everywhere.
"But Mommmm! I don't want to sit in the corner by myselfffff!"

I think I found your blog from Stacey Yoder's, although she never posts anymore. Anyway, you are formerly Katie Brady, right? We did Chrysalis stuff together, and I wanted to say you are so crafty! That food looks delicious, too.
:)
